Non-modular Courses
At Judgepower Training Services we know that NHSS Modular Training is not for everyone – sometimes you need a more tailored approach to your training needs.
We can deliver a combination of any of the VR Modules (for example, VR 5 and VR 6 could be combined to create a Light Recovery Course) or one of the following courses:
ROADSIDE SAFETY AWARENESS
This course is based on VR 3 for Recovery Operators or an alternative version specifically for various industries, for example Coach and Bus Companies, Tyre Technicians
LIGHT RECOVERY COURSE
This course is an amalgam of VR 5 – Spectacle Frames, VR 6 – Transporters and VR7 – Light Recovery Winching.
LORRY LOADER
This course is based on VR 17 – Lorry Loaders.
HEAVY VEHICLE RECOVERY
This course is based on VR 13 – Underlift, VR 14 – Twin Booms, VR 15 – Transporters (Heavy Vehicle Recovery) VR 16 – Heavy Vehicle Recovery Winching, VR 18 – Air Cushions.
BUS AND COACH RECOVERY
This course is a follow up to the Heavy Recovery Course above or VR 13 Module, therefore it is unsuitable for trainees who have not qualified to this standard.
This course is also more practical in nature and designed specifically to acquaint students with the many aspects of a bus or coach, their workings and their recovery, aiding their understanding of the many dangers involved when undertaking the recovery of such large and heavy vehicles.
Students are encouraged to thoroughly examine a bus or coach and will be guided by the instructor in the many ways a safe recovery of the casualty can be carried out, always in the total control of the operator, in the safest and shortest time possible.
