Defibrillation First Aider
The AED market is increasing as more and more AED units are being placed into businesses and public locations. The AED course is a half day course and covers the essential skills required by an AED operator and gives students the confidence to know what to do in this kind of emergency. The certificate is valid for one year.
COURSE CONTENT
- Introduction and history of the defibrillator
- Recap of CPR and respiratory arrest
- Basic life support/Chain of survival to include the good Samaritan law
- Electro - Conduction system
- Practical scenarios
- Procedures (Report forms and cleaning your equipment).
