Appointed Person Course
This course is not HSE approved and has never been approved as it is taught under the guidelines of the HSE First Aid at Work Regulations 1981. Most people now opt for the EFAW in order to comply. It is a useful addition to meet the requirements of the HSE for first aiders in the workplace. The certificate is valid for 3 years and to renew you attend another appointed person’s course. PLEASE MAKE SURE BEFORE BOOKING THIS COURSE THAT IT MEETS YOUR COMPANY'S REQUIREMENTS AS IT IS BEING PHASED OUT. We will still happily train this course if required. Please not that the HSE states `appointed persons are not first-aiders and should not attempt to give first aid for which they have not been trained’
